The function f(x) has been given as f(x) = 2*x - 1

If f(5.4) which should be 2*5.4 - 1 = 10.8 - 1 = 9.8 is not the right answer it could be that the function is f(x) = 2(x - 1). In this case, f(5.4) = 2*(5.4 - 1) = 2*4.4 = 8.8

Other than this there is no reason why `f(5.4) != 9.8`
