We have 10100101, which is a binary number, so there are only two digits 1 and 0.

10100101 = 1*2^0 + 0*2^1 + 1*2^2 + 0*2^3 + 0*2^4 + 1*2^5 + 0*2^6 + 1*2^7

=> 1 + 4 + 32 + 128

=> 165

Binary 10100101 can be written in base 10 as 165 .
