Explore Flannert O'Connor's use of violence to awaken her characters to self-revelation

My university teacher gave me this title to write a reaserch parer on it. I have no idea how to start this and i was hoping someone could help me get started.

Reading O'Connor's "A Good Man is Hard to Find" is a start for your understanding of how violence leads to salvation.  You may also wish to read some criticisms of this story and others as well as O'Connor's biography.

Also, do not neglect to check the Q & A section under the heading of Flannery O'Connor which provides insights into the writer's motivations for writing and her perspective on spiritualty.
