Explain the operation of the electron transport chain in the development ATP

High School Teacher
Electron transport chain uses NADH and FADH2 to produce H+ ions that are used by ATP synthase to covert ADP to ATP. FADH and NADH are proton donators that release H which is pumped outside of the cell by integrin proteins the cell membrane. Then the same hydrogen molecules are used by ATP synthase which pumps hydrogen ions back into the cell. ATP synthase used the H ions to make ATP from ADP.
