Explain the best way of disposing of chemicals at an abandoned chemical plant in unlabled containers.

The chemicals are: sodium chloride, an ionic compound which has been isposed of safely into the sea nearby.

Paraffin wax, a covalent compound which can be burried in landfill and a Zinc metal, which must be recycled.

One way to dispose of chemicals at an abandoned chemical plant in accord with EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) protocol is to take them to an "appropriate disposal facility"; to bury containers with clean soil; to grade the soil; to seed the soil for erosion protection.
