Exactly what Indian tribe is Arnold from in The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-time Indian?
Cherokee, Navajo, etc. I just can't find anything that answers that. The book is set near the town of Spokane. That's all I can find about the reservation.

Junior is a Spokane Indian and he lives on the Spokane Indian reservation. Although the city of Spokane goes by the same name as the tribe and reservation, the city is not really near the reservation and is located to the southeast of the reservation. Wellpinit is the town that is mentioned in The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-time Indian and this is the town that is the official mailing address of the reservation. The Spokane tribe traditionally inhabited areas in northeastern Washington and parts of Idaho and Montana, but the reservation is now contained in Washington. Attached is the link to the tribe's website for more information about the Spokane tribe.
