Distance  = speed*time

Distance travel at first two hours `= 40xx2 = 80km`

Distance travel at second 3 hours `= 50xx3 = 150km`

Average speed = (total distance)/(total time)

Average speed `= (80+150)/(3+2) = 230/5 = 46 (km)/h`

So the average speed of the dove is 46km/h.
