Does Beneatha quit college in A Raisin in the Sun?

In my mind, there is not a scene where Beneatha quits college. From the start of the drama, we see her dream as going to medical school as part of her own vision of self. This dream drives her. In the opening scene of the drama, Walter feels that she should quit school. He feels that the family has made enough sacrifice for her that she should quit out of obligation to the family as well as to relinquish her claim on the money. Yet, Beneatha has not decided to do so. She will not quit her dream of medical school and pursuing her college studies to become a doctor. At the same time, I think that Beneatha would not offer to quit college as she sees this as part of her dream and something that she should pursue in order to fulfill the part of what she sees as her own destiny. The end of the drama does show her to be saddened as to the money not going towards her education. She feels dejected that she will not become a doctor. Yet, she does not immediately suggest that she will quit college. In fact, Joseph tells her to continue to fight for her own
