Does anyone know what page I can find the "Parable of my Father's Kingdom" in "In the Time of the Butterflies"?
I need to know asap. I heard something about page 154, but I don't see how that is a parable, since a parable is a story.

In a broad sense, this entire work by Alvarez is a Parable of My Father's Kingdom. She tells the reader in the postscript that her father had told her about the sisters who had become legendary in the Resistance, the same Resistance in which he was involved in the Dominican Republic. Alvarez turned to fiction to uncover just What gave them[the sisters] that special courage. It is in this way that the sisters become a parable unto themselves teaching the lesson of enduring courage against great odds and suffering.
