This is a good request. There are several things that a management company can do to make their work much more efficient and better run.
First, they need to hire reliable people in terms of organization and maintenance. In other words, the management company needs to keep great records and keep the tenants apprised of important information, such as meetings, billing, and the like. In addition, good maintenance workers are a must for any housing to work well, as there will always be problems.
Second, a management company would be wise to have several professional contacts handy. They would need a good rapport with architects, just in case people wanted to get work done, plumbers for obvious reasons, city or town officials to obtain building permits and the like. A good lawyer would be important as well. The more ready contacts a management company has, the better their work will be.
