Describle a hypothetical occupational injury and the steps one would go through to...
1 Answer | add yours
Each institution in each specific country or municipality has its own reporting procedures and responses for occupational injuries. At my university, all professors are required to complete a 2-hour online training course and pass an exam certifying our knowledge of proper procedures. Different types of hazard and injury require different procedures. If injuries occur in our classrooms we follow a standard procedure. In case of serious injuries, we are required to call 911 (the local emergency number) and report the injury. Next we call campus security. Then campus security takes charge of the procedure and we fill out a report.
