What is the role of the community nurse working with families within the context of Primary Health Care?
1 Answer | Add Yours
The community health nurse is one of the emerging areas of health care. The community health nurse is a member of a given community and as such has "insider" information about community health attitudes, expectations, problems, and biases. The community health nurse, being from the same community, integrates knowledge and understanding of the community and its way of thinking and acting with up-to-date health intervention strategies.
