C = 0.2t^2 - 10t + 650

calculate the vertex

t = -b/2a

t = 10/2*0.2

t = 10/0.4

t = 25

Substitute 25 into original equation to find C.

C = 0.2*25^2 - 10*25 + 650

C = 0.2*625 - 250 + 650

C = 125 - 250 + 650

C = 525

Answer:  25 cars will minimize the production cost to $525
