cos x = (1/2)*sq root of 3.

The fundamental formula of trigonometry says:

sin^2 (x) + cos^2 (x)=1

sin x = sq root of [1-cos^2 (x)]

sin x = sq root of (1 - 3/4)

sin x = sq root of (1/4)

sin x = 1/2
