The coordinates of points C and D are (-6,10) and (12,-2) respectively. If AB bisects CD what are the coordinates of point E?

(0,6)

(3,4)

(6,8)

(9,0)

which one out of those 4 coordinate points below the question?

The midpoint of a line segment is:

x-coordinate of midpoint = (-6 + 12) / 2 = 6 / 2 = 3

y-coordinate of midpoint = (10 + -2) / 2 = 8 / 2 = 4

The midpoint is (3, 4).
