Simplifying `1/3x-2/3y-2/5x+4/7y` by combining the like terms gives:

`1/3x-2/3y-2/5x+4/7y`

= `x(1/3 - 2/5) + y(-2/3 + 4/7)`

= `(-1/15)*x -(2/21)*y`

`1/3x-2/3y-2/5x+4/7y = (-1/15)*x -(2/21)*y`
