Classify each angle by its measure. The measure of angle PVQ, is 21 degrees(classify it by its angle please). The measure of angle RVT is 96 degrees..

and the measure of angle PVS is 143 degrees. Please classify each angle by its measure. angle, PVQ, angle RVT, and angle PVS.

PVQ = 21 degrees

RVT = 96 degrees

PVS = 143 degrees.

We know that:

angles between 0 and 90 are Acute angles.

Angles between 90 and 180 degrees are Obtuse angles.

Angles equal 90 degree are right angles.

Then:

PVQ = 21 < 90 ==> Acute angle.

RVT = 96 ==> 90 < RVT < 180 ==> obtuse angle.

PVS = 143 ==> 90< PVS < 180 ==> Obtuse angle.

Angle PVQ = 21 degrees

Angle RVT = 96 degrees

Angle PVS = 143 degrees.

To classify the angles:

Solution:

An angle less than 90 degrees is  acute angle

Angle more than 90 degree but less thann 180 degree is an obtuse angle.

So Angle PVQ = 21 deg is acute angle.

Angle RVT = 96 deg and angle PVS = 143 deg are obtuse angles

Angles of are classified in different types according to their size. The types of angles and their corresponding size in degrees is described below.

Right angle: 90 degrees

Acute angle: less than 90 degrees

Obtuse angle: more than 90 degrees and less than 180 degrees

Straight angle: 180 degrees.

Thus the type of each of the given angle is:

PVQ (21 degrees): Acute angle

RTV (96 degrees): Obtuse angle

PVS (143 degrees): Obtuse angle
