Character Analysis of Tessa Grey

I agreed to help somone important to me write a character analysis essay on the character Tessa Grey from the book Clockwork Angel. Now, I've never read the book and don't really have the time, however, I can't go back on my word. Could anyone who HAS read it help me out here? Also, any relevant quotes from the book would be super helpful. And yes, this really is for a friend, not me

I would suggest that Tess is a strong person, and very brave.  She is selfless to a certain extent, because she is concerned more with others.  She wants to save her brother.  She is also troubled and confused, because she cannot decide whether to help her friends save the world or be with her brother.

I would say Tessa is indeed a strong person, ready to help anyone who asks for it, even if it means stabbing herself to make sure the enemy doesnt get her and takes over the world (she honestly stabbs herself) but she isnt strong all of the time. Sometimes she lets love blind her. For example she loved her brother but it turned out he was super evil, and after he announces the he works for the enemy, she realizes that he was acting different, anyway, but she hadnt noticed. Also she absolutely adores will, but it takes her till the end of the book to realize he was a total dick. I havnt read the second book yet, but friends tell me that it explains why Will was being such an asshole, so I decided to forgive him. But she is defeniately strong and would give her life to save the world anyday.

im sorry, littleacher or whatever ur name is, but I dont agree with the last thing youve said. She defeniately loves her brother, but there was never a moment when she even though of the fact that she could join ghim. She would never betray her friends and herself at that, like that. just so u know.
