In the cartoon The Point by Harry Nilson, what were the challenges that Oblio had in the pointless forest? And how did Oblio persevere?

He met the pointless man, the bees, the rock man, the leaf man, the 3 fat sisters, the giant pterodactyl, and arrow fell into the point of no return.

He found the everything in the pointless forest had a point, there for, he must have one too.

What is sad is that Oblio started out as a outcast, because he didn't have a point, and at the end of the story, he's still the outcast because he is the only one with a point.
