can yeast cell's blow up a baloon? If so how long would it take? A hour a day a week?

These cell's are in a test tube with a baloon on the open end and do not have a sugar source just water.

The yeast needs a sugar source to turn it into Carbon Dioxide.  The balloon should not inflate with only yeast and water.
