Can anyone help me with some information on the migration flows of the mid-19th century to early 20th century to Quebec, and the changes to Quebec affected by the migration flow?

According to Statistics Canada, migration flows to Quebec were low between 1851 and 1901, with an annual increase rate of 1.3%. The migration flow increased to 3% from 1901 up until 1921 then decreased again between 1921 and 1971. In this last phase, the increase rate was the lowest recorded at a little more than 1%, lower than the 1851 1.3%.
