Here is an example of a linear equation that requires multiple steps to solve and division:

`3x+4=25`

First subtract 4 to both sides

`3x+4-4=25-4`

Simplify:

`3x=21`

Divide both sides by 3

`(3x)/3=21/3`

`x=7`

Here is an example of a linear equation that requires multiple steps to solve and multiplication:

`x/2-10=20`

Add 10 to both sides

`x/2-10+10=20+10`

`x/2=30`

` ` Multiply both sides by 2

`2x/2=30*2`

`x=60`
