To find the volume of the cone , we have to first find the radius and the height.

According to simple trigonometry,

`r/25 = sin(20)`

`r = 25 xx 0.3420`

`r = 8.55`

 

Also,

`h/25 = cos(20)`

`h = 25 xx 0.9397`

`h = 23.4925`

 

The volume of a cone is given by,

`V = 1/3pir^2h`

`V = 1/3 xx pi xx 8.55^2 xx 23.4925`

`V = 1798.4 cm^3`

 

Therefore the correct answer is B.
