The velocity, frequency and wavelength of light rays are related by:

v = f*l, where v is the velocity, f is the frequency, and l is the wavelength.

In your problem:

v = 3 x 10^8 m/s

l = 5.2 x 10^-7, solve for f

f = 5.77 x 10^14 Hz,

The period (T) = 1/f

T = 1.73 x 10^-15 s
