The box has 150 balls. Of these 65 balls are red in color and 30 are blue. We pick up one ball at random and want to know the probability that the ball is either red or blue. There are a total of 65 + 30 = 95 balls which satisfy the given condition.
Therefore the probability that a ball picked up at random is red or blue is 95/150 = 19/30.
The required probability is 19/30
