David was caring and kind and had great faith and hope , and the idea that things can only get better. David was able to dream and think of tommorrow , for all he had gone through he never lost that idea of going away and being free from pain. David's mother was mean and hated herself , had no faith or hope in life, and what David had she hated because no matter what he never gave up. Where she did a long time before the abuse started.
