Compare the national drug data that is published by the U.S. Bureau of Justice (DJ) to that published by the U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA).

These records don't really compare because they are different kinds or records. Asking for a comparison is rather like asking for a comparison between giraffes and koala bears: they are both animal, both in Australia and both attracted to trees but that's all the comparison that can be made.
Having said that, The Department of Drug Enforcement--a department within the U.S. Bureau of Justice--keeps records of drug use by population while the Bureau of justice keeps records of crimes associated with drug use.
