The figure consists of two isosceles triangles with a common side. And one of the equal sides of each of the triangles lies along the same line.

In an isosceles triangle, the angles opposite the equal sides are equal. This gives y = 30. x = (180 - (180 - 30 - 30)) = 60. 

z = 180 - (x + y) = 180 - 30 - 60 = 90

The angle x = 60 degrees, y = 30 degrees and z = 90 degrees.
