An object cast heat shadow ,it does not mean transfer of heat from one place to another place by means of radiation. Heat follows all the laws of light . Light can be bend , reflect , refract , diafraction and interference etc. When heat falls on body (heat travels in straight direction),when it strike an object may possible it reflect back ,not necessarly in same direction of propogation. It may bent and follows the rule of light. If there denser medium it will bent more than rare medium. This sharp bent of heat form a shadow, where heat energy .
