I studies this book when i was in the 7th grade and I loved it! I believe that this book is a very good "warning" to all of us in America; there world in F451 sounds a bit like ours and we can soon transform into their world (which would be NOTT good!)

I read Fahrenheit 451 the summer before my junior year of high school, and I think it's a wonderful book. I am a serious bibliophile, and a world without books or full of people who don't care about books would be a world in which I couldn't live. I think it's a great example of how a society constantly assaulted by colors and sounds, or by commercials and television shows that are forever attempting to cater to shorter attention spans, is a society that is learning not to think too hard about anything. It's a bit scary and slightly depressing to think about such a future, but I still love the book.
