7 girls in a bus. Each girl has 7 backpacks. In each backpack, are 7 cats. For every cat, 7 kittens. How many legs are there in the bus?

You have to include the drivers legs too.

Seven girls on the bus 7 x 2= 14 legs

Seven girls x seven backpacks = 49 backpacks

49 backpacks x 7 cats = 343 cats

343 cats x 4 legs each cat =  1,372 legs

343 cats x 7 kittens = 2, 401 kittens

2,401 kittens x 4 legs = 9,604 legs

14 girls' legs + 1,372 cats' legs + 9,604 kittens' legs + 2 bus driver's legs = 10,992 legs total

driver= 2 legs

1girl= 2legs

7 girls= 2*7= 14 legs

1 girl= 7 backpacks

7 girl= 7*7= 49 backpacks

1backpack= 7 cats

49 backpacks= 49*7= 343 cats

1cat= 4legs

343 cats= 4*343= 1372 legs

1 cat= 7 kittens

343 cats= 7*343= 2401 kittens

1 kitten= 4 legs

2401 kittens= 4*2401= 9604 legs

total legs= 9604+1372+14+2
