Affordability; Access and Choice; Portability and Security; Quality
He wants to make sure that the uninsurable would be guaranteed insurance; that control of health care be given back to the individuals; add increased competition to improve care and decrease costs, amongst other things.
Although he doesn't detail how he will accomplish these items, he does state that he would work with Congress, governors and the industry leaders.
Part of the plan included at tax break of approximately 1200 dollars per family to help with health care costs. McCain promises that he will not be raising taxes on the middle class families to achieve his plan.
