Posted by rolltide12 on Sunday October 18, 2009 at 8:34 PMI don't see how you could say anything but a democracy. Dr. Seuss wrote against facism and communism; although he did support the Japanese internment camps in America in WWII...a clear violation of their civil rights.
Ghandi would take any form of democracy that was peaceful. He wouldn't be happy with a system that promotes 1 religion over another. Hinduism has always been an "all are welcome" religion unlike the big 3 monotheistic religions which tend to be more of a "my way or the highway" mindset.
All would agree with "social contract theories" of government in which the people and government come to an agreement on rights and responsibilities.
