Were abolitionists a part of the Progressive Era?

    Abolitionists were people who wanted to abolish slavery.  Slavery ended right after the Civil War in 1865, so of course the abolitionist movement ended then too.

    The Progressive Movement is generally dated from 1900 to 1920.  This was a movement that was concerned with improving the living conditions and values of poor people and immigrants.  It was also concerned with limiting the power of big businesses and the rich.

    It may be possible that you are thinking of Prohibitionists -- people who wanted to ban alcohol.  They were part of the Progressive Movement.
