If Queen Elizabeth never married or had children, who succeeded the throne after she died?

    Her successor was King James 1 of England (and 6th of Scotland). He was the son of Mary, Queen of Scots, and Henry Stuart. With his reign, he began the rule of the Stuart family in England (Elizabeth, daughter of King Henry and Anne Boleyn) was a Tudor. Since he was king of Scotland already, now he would be also King of all territories left behind by Queen Elizabeth: England, Scotland, Ireland and whatever other territory Elizabeth gained with her powerful Army.
