Question:
Can anyone discribe the women's rights movement in the first half of the nineteenth century?
I would like to know if the women's rights movement accomplished its goals.

The 1st half of the 19th centuary of the Women`s Right Movement was somewhat biased. It all started off with the first gained momemtum w/ the American Revolution. Women`s rights urged, but remained in a small quanity. Many men fought for a women`s right that they should have a life outside of the house and not just inside. Wmen were to nurture their husbands and to raise virtuous children so that the United States republic would prosper. This was known as the "Republican Motherhood.
