The Story:
Heidi lectured on woman artists, then flashed back to a high school dance in 1965, where she and her friend Susan began their investigation of the opposite sex. At the next dance, at a McCarthy rally in 1968, Heidi met Scoop Rosenbaum, who seduced her. In 1970, Heidi and Susan joined a women’s consciousness-raising group, where Heidi’s inability to fit in became apparent. She was still seeing Scoop.
