   Harry is orphaned to his aunt and uncle, muggles (humans, not witches or wizards). He lives on Privett Drive. Hagarid comes to tell Harry about being a wizard and takes him to Hogwart's, the wizard school. He learns about Voldemort and how he killed his parents, but couldn't kill Harry. He meets Hermoine and Ron on his way to school. He reads about a theft in Gringots, the wizard bank and it happens to be the vault 713, that Hagrid had visited while Harry was making a withdrawal. He arrives at school and is chosen to be in the Gryffindor house with his new friends. Harry find the mirror Erased and almost loses himself in front of it because it shows the looker's most strong desire and his was to see his parents. Dumbledore, the headmaster of the school has it moved to a safe place. Harry, Ron, and Hermoine find out about Nicholas Flamel and learn that he created the Sorcerer's Stone and that's what was stolen from the bank. They also learn that it's being hidden at the school and protected by magic spells. They learn some of the secrets they need from Hagrid, who also told Voldermort, inadvertently while he was intoxicated. The three set off to find the stone. They all work together and get Harry to a point where he can go it alone, he gets the stone from Voldemort, with the help of Erased. Voldemort wanted it so he could materialize again and defeat Harry once and for all. Harry wins to fight another day and he does.
