Hampshire doesn't have majors. Hampshire has concentrations. By your second year, you start figuring out what you want to concentrate in as well as choosing whom you want to be on your personal committee. The committee members will help you conduct research for your Div III, which is essentially a senior thesis project.

During Div II, your 2nd and 3rd years at Hampshire, you will conduct research with your committee needed to complete your Div III.

In your 4th year at Hampshire, you begin and complete your Div III.
