   Your conclusion is truly going to depend on what your main points are in the essay. 

   What is your purpose?  What have you said about how Shakespeare portrays madness in Hamlet?  Remember that the paper should be your idea, supported with your reasons for believing that idea to be true, and reinforced with examples from the play and quotes from published experts.

   Based on these things, you may use a quote to sum up your ideas, you may use a definition to clarify, you may use an anecdote or example, or you may choose to summarize without completely repeating everything all over again.

   Whatever you decide to do, remember that the conclusion is what the reader will remember most.  You will want to make it strong and leave the reader with the most credible evidence that supports your main thesis.
