Hamlet | Plot Summaries
Students often feel much more secure in approaching a Shakespearean work if they have a summary of events in modern English to guide them. You may wish to copy the following summaries and pass them out to your class before they begin reading the primary text. After they have read both the summary and the primary text, you may begin to ask plot-oriented and analytical questions.
