Group Discussion of Homework
Ask students to share instances of archetypes found in Act 1. Students should cite the scene and verse where the reference occurs. The rest of the class should mark each instance in their own texts.
Review of Act 1: Open Question Period
Questions may include plot points (e.g., who is the Ghost and what does he claim?), character analysis (e.g., what are some of the reasons Hamlet struggles with revenge?), theme reviews (e.g., leadership, intellectualism and faith, thought vs. action, perception and persuasion.)
