Tips to Succeed at Lewis & Clark
Talk to your teachers.
Make sure your professors know where you are with your work if you’re getting behind—keep them updated.
If you are having trouble, teachers will care; if not, find someone who does.
Be honest about what you can do with yourself and your professors.
Keep up with your schedules.
Remember to get sufficient rest.
Use a planner—a nice one is provided by the school.
Use the Career and Community Learning Center.
Go to club meetings that interest you.
Take some (but not all) of your time to socialize.
Take some time for yourself occasionally, as well.
Spend some time alone—don’t go home every weekend.
Experiment in different aspects of life.
Don’t overestimate what you can do.
Don’t let small failures discourage you.
Check your e-mail often.
Talk to your advisors often.
Go to a Quaker meeting one Sunday and get a better feel for Quaker principles.
