    We are told by Jordan that after a three - months' honeymoon in the South Seas Tom has already been cheating on Daisy. I would not feel too sorry for Daisy, though. She never really loved Tom, or, to be honest, Gatsby. The price of her love was bought by a 350,000 dollar pearl necklace, given to her by the philandering Tom.
