The Story:
Honoré Grandissime and Aurora Nancanou, both members of the Creole aristocracy though they were unaware of one another’s identity, met at a masked ball and fell in love at first sight. Honoré was a young merchant and the head of the Grandissime family. Aurora, a young widow, was from the De Grapion family.
