Question:
I need to write a research report on the Gothic Literary Movement. Are there any helpful websites or books?
I already have: The Cambridge Companion to Gothic Fiction(I looking for something a little less complex), American Gothic Fiction, The Gothic Tradition-I already Exhausted my Library and don't want to go out and purchase a book that may not be helpful.

The University of Virgina, I believe, is or was putting together a class project dealing with the Gothic Movement. From your question I assume that you interested in the American Gothic and not the English, correct? Obviously I do not know just what your thesis is or how you are planning on going about writing your paper. The three websites I listed should provide some help, with a bare minimum defining just how exactly the movement started and the proper characteristics of the stories. I hope these pages help, and please feel free to ask more questions if you happen to have any.
