The Godfather was adapted as a film by Francis Ford Coppola in 1972. Starring Marlon Brando as the Godfather, Al Pacino as Michael, James Caan as Sonny, and Diane Keaton as Kay Adams, it is considered one of the greatest American films of all time. Mario Puzo co-wrote the Academy Award-winning script with Coppola. It is available on home video from Paramount.
