I have to think of 15 interview questions to ask Jonas, but I'm not sure what questions would be best to ask.

This would be good for a discussion board posting.

Here are some ideas I have:

1. Obviously, I'd like to ask him what happens to him at the end of the novel (and Gabe, too).  Specifically, where do they end up?  What is "Elsewhere" like?  Do they ever return to their community to see the effects of their actions?

2. You might ask some questions about how he felt when .... For example, How did you feel when you first read your instructions?  Or how did it feel to lie to your parents?  etc.

3. You could ask his opinion on the government system in the community.  How does he think they could improve things there?  Does he worry that changing the system might have negative effects, etc.?

If you are interviewing him after he has reached Elsewhere, you could ask him to compare and contrast life in Elsewhere to life in the community.

What are the pros of life in the community?

Now that he has left, what does he miss the most?

How would he change the community if he could?

What is his favorite part of living "Elsewhere?" 

I think questions about "Elsewhere" are great because we are all wondering about that.

1. What is it like?
2. How did he feel when he reached the new community?
3. Did he ever regret leaving?
4. Does he miss some of the people in his old community.
5. Does any one else from the old community come and join him in his new life?
