I thought about a lot of things. A lot of things also circled threw my mind but I want to hear what you thought of chapter two as far as words you didnt know about until now or parts that you thought were important. What questions did you have?

In chapter two of The Giver, I think it is important to know the following:

Why is the Ceremony of Twelve important? 

What is Jonas' relationship with his family? 

How is Jonas' society set up to deal with newchildren like Gabe?

Some good vocabulary words from chapters one and two are: adherence, transgression, enhance, aptitude, and palpable.
