Georgetown has pretty good rec facilities, I think.  The cost of using them is included in the tuition.  Yates is the gym/rec center, and it has indoor basketball courts, tennis courts, raquetball courts, a track, ping pong tables, a pool, saunas, a weights area, & a machine area.  There are also locker rooms & towels are always available.  It can get a little crowded during certain days/times (late afternoon/mid-morning on weekdays), but the hours are good so you should be able to find a quiter time if you like.  There is also a good selection of classes held at Yates - 3-4 types of yoga, pilates, cycling, kickboxing, strength training, & they usually aren't too crowded.  Outdoors, there are more tennis courts, a football/lacrosse field, 2 soccer fields, batting practice areas, & a track (although that is on the other side of campus and across the street - maybe a 5-10 minute walk).  There is also an outdoor program that organizes canoe/kayak trips, rock climbing trips, & hikes.  Those usually run $5-20ish dollars, depending on what/where it is.  DC is also very runner/walker friendly; a lot of students jog along the waterfront, in Rock Creek Park, or around Roosevelt Island.
